This landscape is inspired by my family journey to gorgeous Dingle peninsula. October Sunday, one day before the Ofelia hurricane, very strong winds. The coastal landscape here is stunning, dramatic cliff scenery, with a breathtaking view of the Blasket Islands. Dún Chaoin Pier is tricky to find, but it is as mesmerizing in real life as it is in pictures, located in a stunning scenery on a coastal stretch framed by huge cliffs. This is one of my first painting of this scenery but I would definitely love to make more variations in the future as I find it very unique.
